A little about me ...
I help individuals and organizations communicate clearly and effectively in American English. I specialize in private instruction, corporate training, and program design for professional, cultural, and everyday communication.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Marketing (magna cum laude) with a concentration in Communications from Babson College. I also have advanced ESL certifications: 120-hour TEFL, 60-hour Business TEFL, and 30-hour Advanced English TEFL.
My professional background includes numerous financial licenses and recognition as a corporate award winner from multiple employers. Combined with experience in hospitality, real estate, finance, fitness, and marketing, this gives me a practical perspective on how language is used in real workplaces and real situations.
My work focuses on helping international professionals, learners, and teams communicate more efficiently. I do not teach for perfect English. I focus on clear, effective communication that works in real life, supported by cultural awareness and professional context.
Raising three daughters shaped the way I communicate and teach. It strengthened my ability to listen, explain, and lead with empathy, while refining my voice as a writer, speaker, and guide.
Outside of work, I am a lifelong learner. I enjoy meaningful conversation, creative projects, movement, and quiet walks with my dog, Hazel. I approach my work with faith, courage, and kindness—and bring those values to everyone I serve.
